New Caledonia have finalised their squad for the two friendlies against Tahiti on the 20th and 23rd of March. This will be the national team’s first outing since the 1-1 draw with Estonia in November last year.

While Tahiti have had to find a new coach Les Cagous, the Kagu’s, has had to deal with injury problems and coach Thierry Sardo has had to make one change since calling up his preliminary squad a few weeks back.

Hienghène Sport goalkeeper Rocky Nyikeine has had to pull out of the squad with an injury and SC Ne Drehu keeper Raymond Saihuliwa has been called up to replace him, joining Oceania Champions League representative AS Magenta’s Mickael Ulile as one of the two goalkeepers.

All in all Magenta are well represented in the squad with five players in the 20-man squad, including captain Jean Brice Wadriako and striker Richard Sele who scored twice in the group stage as Magenta were eliminated.
