A succesful trial led to a deal in Bosnia.

Solomon Islands youngster Raphael Lea’i has signed a deal with FK Velez Mostar of the Bosnia and Herzegovina Premier League.

The talented attacker has been on a trial in Mostar for the last few weeks, playing in friendlies and scoring.

“In the presence of the director of the Velež Football Club Sanjin Alagić, on Friday in the official premises of the Club, and after a successful trial in which he met the criteria of Velež’s professional staff, a contract was signed,” Velez wrote on their website.

The contract will last until the end of the 2023-24 season.

“We wish our new player a lot of happiness, health and mutual success in the coming period,” the club wrote.
