The reason is the world wide corona pandemic and travel restrictions of several countries in Oceania.

That means the following tournaments have been moved:

  • OFC Champions League: From January 2021 to earliest July 1st 2021.
  • World Cup Qualifiers: From spring 2021 to June 2021.
  • OFC Beach Soccer Nations Cup: From January 2021 to no later than June 6th 2021.

The men‘s OFC U20 Championship currently set for January in Samoa, will be re-evaluted at the next OFC Executive Committee meeting in December.

“We are doing our best to continually communicate with our Member Associations and we appreciate their support and understanding during this period of regional inactivity,” OFC General Secretary Franck Castillo said.

“We are all looking forward to the return of football in the future when it is safe for us to conduct tournaments.”
