Dedicated to bringing you stories from the beautiful game on the beautiful continent Football in Oceania aim to provide news from the leagues and national teams on the continent as well as checking up on players based elsewhere around the world. Expect to see some news on Women’s football as well with that being a growing sport in the region. There might even be the occasional news on Beach Soccer and Futsal (Indoors football for those of you who aren’t familiar with the lingo).

About the founder:

My name is Ola Bjerkevoll, I study Sports Journalism at UCA Farnham in Surrey, England but I’m a native of the great white north and the country of Norway. I fell in love with Oceania and its football teams after Australia’s adventure in the 2006 World Cup in Germany and New Zealand’s fantastic unbeaten journey through the 2010 WC in South Africa. Ever since then I’ve been following the Oceanian footballing world with interest and finally decided to do something with that interest.

Hope you enjoy your stay here. Have a good read and I hope to see you here again.
