Roy Krishna joins team for Pro League
Fiji’s greatest striker has signed for Bula FC ahead of the inaugural OFC Pro League.

The signing of 38 year old Roy Krishna marks a landmark signing for the Fijian side.
“It’s been an amazing journey playing abroad, but there’s something special about coming back home. It’s where my roots are, and I’m excited to give back,” he says in a statement on the club’s Instagram page.
The national team captain is Fiji’s greatest ever player, having spent several years abroad since leaving Fiji in for the 2008 season in New Zealand.
He played 122 matches for Wellington Phoenix in the A-League before spending the last six years in India, where he regularly played in the top flight. Krishna looks forward to return home to share his experience.
“This team is full of young, hungry players with immense potential. I’m here not just to play, but to guide them and show them what it takes to succeed.”
Krishna is excited to be part of Bula FC, and hopes to help create pathways for other Fijians.
“It’s not just about me; it’s about creating something lasting. I want these young players to achieve even more than I did, and I’m here to help them get there.”
Returning home is also about family. After years abroad, Krishna is excited to share his time with his wife and daughter, who have supported him throughout his career:
“Finally being able to share my days with them here is truly the icing on the cake.”
Bula FC have also signed foreigners Kaile Auvray (Trinidad & Tobago), Yuta Konagaya (Japan), Fergus Gillion (New Zealand), Matthew Foord (NZ), Adam Supyk (NZ) to bolster the squad of local talents.
