The tournament will take place in Samoa from January 31 to February 6, at the Samoa Football HQ in Apia, with the winner qualifying for the OFC Men’s Champions League 2026 in Fiji in August.

Vaivase-Tai FC of Samoa will represent the host nation, whilst Tupapa Maraerenga FC will represent the Cook Islands, Nukuhetulu FC will represent Tonga, and Pago Youth FC will represent American Samoa.

All four teams will play each other once in a single-group, with the team finishing top advancing to the OFC Men’s Champions League later in 2026.

Tupapa Maraerenga FC won the qualifying tournament in 2025 and will be participating in the OFC Men’s Champions League for the tenth time, while hosts Vaivase-Tai FC will be looking to emulate their qualifying success from 2024.

Nukuhetulu FC are making their debut in OFC continental competition and are only the third Tongan club to participate in the OFC Men’s Champions League. Pago Youth FC meanwhile, are participating in the competition for the fifth time, and the first time since 2019, when they finished bottom of the qualifying group.

The qualifying tournament kicks off the 25th edition of the OFC Men’s Champions League, 38 years since the first-ever tournament back in 1987, when Australia’s Adelaide City lifted the inaugural crown.
