Papua New Guinea’s Alwin Komolong has been dealt a huge blow before the second half of the season in Germany.

The Stuttgarter Kickers player, who we reviewed the first six months of earlier this month, has struggled with playing time since new manager Paco Vaz took over and Komolong will now be sidelined for what his club reports as “the unforeseeable future”.
According to the club’s website, Komolong has struggled with inflammation in the Achilles tendon in the preparation for the second half of the season and it could now possibly require surgery.
Let’s hope the “unforeseeable future” isn’t too far and that a surgery will not be required.
Football in Oceania wishes Alwin a speedy recovery.
