PNG look for new Head Coach

Following in the footsteps of the Solomon Islands and Fiji, Papua New Guinea have decided to start their hunt for a new Head Coach.

And not only the main position, but the entire coaching staff is up for grabs, with the PNGFA looking for an assistant, a goalkeeping coach and a trainer.

Former PNG Head Coach Flemming Serritslev went to Fiji so he is out of the question but there are several other names familiar to the region that could be throwing their names in the hat.

As for the criteria, PNGFA have two for the Head Coach position:

  • Minimum C License Senior Coaching Certificate from affiliated organizations recognised by FIFA.
  • Minimum 5 years of active senior football coaching experience
