Tahiti to play opener at World Cup

The groups for the 2021 FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup in Russia have been drawn.

Tahiti have landed in a group which they should have every chance to qualify from. The tournament in Moscow starts on August 18th.

Tahiti have been drawn in Group B with Mozambique, Spain and the UAE.

In a press release FIFA states that the game between Tahiti and UAE will be the first of the tournament.

Russia 2021 will be the 11th edition of the competition and will be held in its entirety at the Luzhniki Olympic Complex.
