Solomons drawn in tough World Cup group
The draw for the 2021 FIFA Futsal World Cup in Lithuania took place on Tuesday.

Solomon Islands, who qualified by winning the 2019 OFC Nations Cup, was put in pot three of four ahead of the draw.
The Solomons have been drawn in Group C which will take place in Kaunas, which will also host the final.
They will face Portugal from pot 1, Thailand from pot 2, and Morocco from pot 4.
They will open their campaign against Morocco.
The Solomons avoided many of the biggest names from the first two pots, but will still have a tough group and a win will be a massive success.
24 countries
The World Cup will take place in September and October.
The following 24 countries will take part in the tournament: Lithuania, Angola, Argentina, Brazil, Costa Rica, Football Union of Russia (RFU), Egypt, Guatemala, IR Iran, Japan, Kazakhstan, Morocco, Panama, Paraguay, Portugal, Solomon Islands, Serbia, Spain, Thailand, Czech Republic, USA, Uzbekistan, Vietnam and Venezuela.
The two best will go through from the group stages, with the four best third placed teams joining them in the knockouts.
The opening match is on September 12th and the final will be played on October 3rd.
