The Cook Islands FA confirm they will not be able to play Tahiti on Sunday.

“Due to the high number of players who tested positive for COVID, we will not be able to field a team for our match against Tahiti on Sunday 20 March 2022,” they write on their Facebook page.

This is the second game that is cancelled following a covid outbreak after the Vanuatu squad had an outbreak prior to the Tahiti match.

Vanuatu have since withdrawn from the tournament.
